From product sample to real-life application
The AGRIMPEX demonstration plot at the Hortulus Gardens was created to present crop covers, mulching materials and BIO solutions under real garden conditions.
Products that are normally seen in packaging, catalogues or technical descriptions were installed in a cultivated area where visitors could observe their appearance, method of application and practical role.
An educational space for garden users
The project was designed as more than a product display. Its purpose was to help visitors understand how different materials support plant protection, weed control, soil coverage and everyday garden maintenance.
Separate sections of the plot made it possible to present selected product groups clearly and explain why a particular material may be suitable for one application but not another.
Presenting different AGRIMPEX solutions
The demonstration area included selected crop covers, mulching materials and biodegradable products. Each solution was installed in a way that allowed visitors to see how it interacts with the crop and the surrounding soil.
The project also highlighted the importance of appropriate fastening, correct material placement and selecting the product according to the expected function.
Observation throughout the season
The test plot was planned as a seasonal project rather than a one-day display. This makes it possible to document the materials at different stages of plant development and under changing weather conditions.
Photographs and observations collected during the season can later support educational articles, product guides and communication with professional and hobby garden users.
A practical reference point
The Hortulus project demonstrates how a physical test area can make technical product information easier to understand. Visitors can compare solutions directly and see AGRIMPEX materials as complete horticultural systems rather than isolated samples.
