Agrola Groundcover 100g Green Profi

Professional Green Woven Groundcover for Weed Control and Landscaping

Agrimpex Agrola Groundcover Green 100 g/m² is a durable, UV-stabilised woven polypropylene fabric designed for professional mulching, weed suppression and ground surface protection.

Its densely woven structure provides high mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion and stretching, making it particularly suitable for plant nurseries, ornamental cultivation, landscaping and other horticultural applications.

The green groundcover limits sunlight reaching the soil, helping suppress weed growth and reduce competition for water and nutrients. At the same time, its water- and air-permeable structure allows rainfall and irrigation water to penetrate the fabric, supporting favourable soil conditions.

A distinctive orange 25 × 25 cm guide grid simplifies installation, helps align planting rows and makes it easier to arrange plant containers evenly across larger growing areas.

Key Benefits

• Effective weed suppression – limits sunlight reaching the ground, reducing weed growth and the need for frequent maintenance.
• High mechanical durability – the densely woven polypropylene structure provides resistance to abrasion, stretching and everyday wear.
• Water and air permeability – allows rainfall, irrigation water and air to pass through the material.
• Soil moisture conservation – helps reduce moisture loss and maintain suitable conditions around plant roots.
• UV-stabilised construction – improves resistance to degradation caused by outdoor sunlight exposure.
• Orange 25 × 25 cm guide grid – facilitates accurate installation, row alignment and consistent plant positioning.
• Suitable for nursery use – the durable woven construction withstands regular foot traffic and the placement of plant containers during normal horticultural operations.
• Versatile ground protection – suitable for planted areas, garden paths, hedges and selected landscaping applications.
• Professional roll formats – available in seven widths, each supplied in 100 m rolls.

Applications

Plant Nurseries and Container Growing Areas

Agrola Green provides a durable surface for plant nurseries and container cultivation. It helps suppress unwanted vegetation, keeps growing areas more organised and allows routine movement between plant rows.

Ornamental Plants and Hedges

Suitable for mulching around ornamental shrubs, nursery plants and hedges, where it reduces weed competition and helps maintain soil moisture.

Fruit and Vegetable Cultivation

The woven groundcover can be used in selected vegetable and fruit-growing applications to help reduce weed growth and protect the soil surface.

Garden Paths and Landscaped Areas

Agrola Green is suitable beneath decorative bark, gravel and selected garden pathways, helping limit weed growth and maintain cleaner outdoor surfaces.

Slopes and Embankments

The fabric can be used as a ground covering on suitable slopes and embankments, helping protect exposed soil surfaces against vegetation growth and surface erosion.

Windbreak Fencing

According to Agrimpex product information, the green woven fabric can also be used as a windbreak covering on suitable fences, provided it is securely fixed and the supporting structure is appropriate for the wind load.

Durable Woven Polypropylene Structure

Agrola Green is made from densely woven polypropylene, providing greater resistance to mechanical wear than lightweight nonwoven mulch fabrics.

Its structure makes it suitable for professional horticultural environments where workers regularly move across the material or position plant containers on the groundcover.

Water and Air Permeability

The woven structure allows water and air to pass through the fabric, enabling rainwater and irrigation water to reach the soil.

The groundcover also helps reduce evaporation from exposed soil, supporting moisture conservation during cultivation.

Orange Planting Guide Grid

A distinctive orange grid with 25 × 25 cm spacing provides a convenient reference for positioning the material and organising planting layouts.

The markings help maintain straight rows and consistent spacing in nurseries, ornamental production and other horticultural growing areas.

How to Install

1. Remove existing weeds and prepare an even ground surface.
2. Unroll Agrola Green over the prepared planting or landscaping area.
3. Use the orange guide grid to maintain accurate alignment.
4. Overlap adjacent sections according to the installation requirements.
5. Secure the fabric edges with suitable Agrimpex ground pegs or pins.
6. Cut planting openings where necessary, leaving sufficient space around plant stems.
7. Check the installation periodically, especially in exposed areas.
